About this artwork
For this artwork, I was inspired by the freeing nature of Bitcoin. A citadel built to borderless move through the sky, far from the oppression of governments and central banks. Citadel One is a place where different ways of thinking are encouraged and concepts like censorship are unknown.
The travelling Citadel One, carrying a complex city with holograms, tall steel buildings, with the ships hovering over, represents the technological nature of bitcoin, and the transition from the old to the new.
Citadel One is a unique piece, the first of a series of five citadels.
